With the imminent release of the first of what will surely be a legion of books authored by Legacy Media types on the obvious cognitive decline of President Joe Biden, there is a modicum of media self-interest in reporting on the book’s disclosures. But there remains a hesitancy to cover this issue at the Legacy newscasts.

The cast of Friday’s PBS News Hour joyfully welcomed the election of Pope Leo XIV on Friday as they tried to claim him as one of their own as all hailed him as the anti-Trump figure the country needs, but all also avoided any parts of Leo that might make them uncomfortable.

But he still somehow claims the media weren't part of the cover-up, even though they easily bent to White House shaming.

On this week's "Press Club" podcast from Mediaite, MSNBC Morning Joe co-host Jon Lemire was quizzed on the "chaos" of Trump's first 100 days in office. But the amazing part came in discussing Biden's mental decline. Mediaite editor Aidan McLaughlin somehow didn't remember that Morning Joe Scarborough beclowned himself with his "Best Biden Ever" speech!
